We opted for a Ha Long Bay Cruise Day Trip. It is a wonderful experience and worth every penny I spent on the cruise. We were taken inside the luxury cruise and were warmly greeted by the staff. They allotted a table per group. The cruise had huge glass windows beside each table. You can enjoy watching the stunning bay views by sitting inside the luxury cruise. It is a beautiful experience.

We began the day during lunch hours. They had a huge buffet spread for lunch. I was surprised by the vegetarian options served in the buffet. They had vegetarian spring rolls, rice, juice, fruits, and bread for vegetarians. The lunch served is filling and relishing. It is not advisable to hike for senior citizens or smaller kids. Also, once you leave the cruise, you can board only from the exit point of the cave. So, you must complete the trek once you leave the cruise. The cave is very beautiful and worth a visit.

Long Island – Ha Long Bay Cruise and Kayak

Our next stop is Long Island. This is a one-of-a-kind island. Imagine going through a cave to an island surrounded by beautiful mountains. You have an option to sail around on a Kayak or a row boat in the island. The Kayaking experience may be a little adventurous as there is a considerable amount of big row boats sailing on the island. These row boats take you through a narrow passage to the other side of the island. You can face trouble passing through or dodging the row boats in this cave. The Kayak also gets dashed, and you may fall into the water.

We opted to sail on the rowboat. It is swiftly sailing on the island. It accommodates a considerable number of tourist in one time. I enjoyed the ride, sailing around on the boat. People were merrily singing and enjoying the quiet on the island. The experience of being amid nature is always refreshing.

This is a beautiful Island on the Bay. You can swim around and have a good time during Sunset on the island.

The best Ha Long Bay cruise alternative is staying in a Hotel by the Bay and enjoying a Day Cruise. We stayed in Ha Long city and then took a day trip on a Luxury Cruise. It is a better option to book a stay in a hotel and enjoy the luxury cruise.

Nin Binh Vs Ha Long Bay

Nin Binh or Ha Long Bay – it is very difficult to choose between the two. Both places are worth the experience. Ha Long Bay offers a luxury experience. Ha Long City has places like Sunworld Theme Park, luxury cruise at the bay, and a great nightlife. Nin Binh, on the other hand, is a place amid nature, with beautiful riverside homestays and places like Hoa Lu, all with a vintage charm.

I liked Nin Binh as I am a person who loves to soak in nature. The simplicity of the homestay by the river is something I liked the most. The homely local food offered by these homestays is also worth a try.
