Hanoi Beyond Old Quarter – Things To Do

We visited the beautiful Hanoi Grand World, a Local favourite place to spend weekends. It is almost an hour’s drive from the Old Quarter. You can easily reach here by cab. The best time to visit Hanoi Grand World is in the evening on a weekend.
Hanoi Grand World

Hanoi Grand World is a beautiful place which resembles the city of Venice. You will see European buildings on a huge promenade. There is a huge artificial river built in the centre, just like in Venice. You can take a gondola ride on this beautiful river. You will find several cafes and dining options surrounded by the river.
I waited at the centre of the promenade to witness the spectacular Pirates Show. Locals are waiting for the show to begin. They were happy seeing us; there are no foreign tourists at the place. They interacted and clicked pictures with me. I enjoyed speaking to the locals. They were friendly and welcoming.

Next, I witnessed the Fireworks Show at the Hanoi Grand World. This spectacular show takes place at weekends. It is beautiful to see the sky lit up with fireworks. The promenade is dazzling, with locals spending a relaxing evening at the cafes and restaurants

Indian Restaurant in Hanoi Grand World
We had dinner at an Indian restaurant located inside the Hanoi Grand World at the restaurant 3 Cs – Curry, Café & Cocktail. It serves authentic and relishing Indian Food. They have a variety of food options on their menu. I liked their North Indian Cuisine. It was authentic and good. I liked the Dal makhani and Paneer Subzi.
This is how I spent an evening at the Hanoi Grand World. I spent 3 to 4 hours at this beautiful place, and it was worth my time. Experience Hanoi beyond the Old Quarter at Hanoi Grand World.
