It is very often when we feel like taking a quick break from our busy city lives. There are many beautiful places near Mumbai where you can spend your weekends. Recently, I had been to one such place for a Weekend trip near Mumbai. This place is one-and-a-half-hour drive from Mumbai and an ideal one for a day trip.
WEEKEND TRIP NEAR MUMBAI AT OLEANDER FARMS KARJAT
This is Oleander Farms in Karjat. It is luxury amid nature. They have a beautiful restaurant, café, chocolate shop, lounge, boutique shop, and a lot more activities to do. It is a perfect place to spend your day on the outskirts of Mumbai city amid nature. Also, they have rooms with a view of their beautiful farm, if you want to plan a stay. They have huge spacious lawns. You get a sense of calmness amid the greenery. You can see beautiful and colourful flowers which add to the beauty of the place.
A perfect place to spend your time with family and friends. The restaurant, cafe and lounge have a beautiful ambience and offer a good variety of food. Each place has a different ambience. All these places are very relaxing and have a peaceful vibe where you can enjoy delicious food with an amazing ambience.

RESTAURANT
The Saltt Restaurant is popular among the people of Mumbai and Pune cities. The restaurant has a perfect ambience. The high ceiling with beautiful lights looks so appealing and makes the place more spacious.
Well, you have to reserve a table before visiting the restaurant. You can do this by giving them a call or also DM through Instagram. They promptly reply on Instagram.
The food here is very delicious. We had some amazing dishes. Some of them were unique which we had never tasted before.
We had a unique dish called BHARWAN ALOO CHAAT. This is an appetiser filled with stuffing and then topped with Dahi(curd), chutneys and sev. It was very delicious.
Also, we had a Paneer Pizza which tasted very nice, different and was perfectly cooked. Then we ordered a Paneer Sabzi and Butter Rotis for the main course which too was good.
CAFÉ
Well, the Café at the Oleander Farms has its own charm. It has a beautiful décor with colourful chairs. Also, they have a variety of options to offer on their menu.
This is an ALL-DAY CAFE. You can have a sip of coffee with relishing café food and enjoy their beautiful ambience. This is a perfect place to spend an evening.
LOUNGE
If you like to have Craft Beers, then this place is perfect to spend a good time. This is a spacious lounge with modern interiors. You can also see some variety of food options on the menu. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. You can spend a good time in the outdoor seating amid greenery.

CHOCOLATE SHOP
The COCOCART Chocolate shop has a variety of different chocolates. They have chocolates from well-known brands. You can buy some of your favorite chocolates from here. Also, you can sip on some of their chocolate shakes which are made in-house.
BOUTIQUE SHOP
After your meal, you can visit their boutique shop Akashi. There are some unique products which you may like to see and buy.
NURSERY
The Kensho Nursery houses a variety of plants which you can buy. You can get some plants from this nursery.

There is a kids’ play area in the oleander farms to keep your kids engaged. Kids can spend a good time playing in the play area. The play area is very well maintained. Kids enjoy playing on the slides and swings.

You can also have a look at their collection of vintage cars on the farms. The cars are very nicely displayed and maintained.
TREKS
They conduct treks to explore the beautiful area around them and soak in nature. The price of the Treks is including breakfast.
