This is one of the most beautiful places in Hong Kong. There are two ways to reach the Big Buddha, which is situated on a hilltop. You can visit via cable car or by a local bus. Ngong Ping Village
After visiting Big Buddha, I visited the Ngong Ping Village near the Satatue of Big Buddha. It is a beautiful little village filled with cafes and restaurants. You will find this quaint little café in a European-style alley. We dined at Ebenzers, a good restaurant with Indian and vegetarian food options. A few other restaurants, like Subway, also had vegetarian options.
