OFF BEAT DESTINATION IN INDIA

Well, on my way to Gujarat Trip, I came across this beautiful place MADHAVPUR. Madhavpur is a small village in Gujarat near Porbandar. It is popular for its blue flag beach. This place also has some temples and history to share. Further in the post I will be sharing some of the interesting places you must visit in Madhavpur, Gujarat. A beautiful off beat destination in India.

Madhavpur Beach

This is a blue flag beach. It is well-maintained and clean. I must say, we had a great time at the beach. Well, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in India. There are a lot of fun activities to do on the beach. You can go for a camel ride or sip on coconut water. Also, there are clean benches and seats placed on the beach with shade to sit and enjoy the sea views.

Well, we were staying at the FERN LEO BEACH RESORT which is right next to the Beach. So, visiting the beach was convenient for us. This is a very good resort with limited rooms. The best part of the resort is the rooms with the beach view. You can enjoy watching the sunset from your room.

Well, I recommend visiting Madhavpur Beach in the evenings. You can watch a beautiful sunset from the beach. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the evening. Walking barefoot in the sand, enjoying the cool breeze, watching a beautiful sunset will always be in my memories.

SHREE MADHAVRAIJI TEMPLE

The original temple of Shree Madhavraiji was built in the 13th Century with ancient Rajputana artwork. The big statues of the temple are now in the new Madhavraiji Temple which is built nearby. This information was written on a wall outside the temple. We visited the new Madhavraiji Temple.

We visited the temple in the evening. Well, do check the timings of the temple before visiting. The atmosphere around the temple is peaceful.

SHREE KRISHNA RUKMINI TEMPLE

This temple is located near the seashore. The temple is surrounded by trees. You can see coconut trees on your way to the temple. The atmosphere around the temple is very peaceful. It is believed that Lord Krishna got married to Goddess Rukmani at this place.

SHIVLING

Well on my way from Shree Madhavraiji Temple, I saw a Shivling near the sea. You can visit this place during your visit to Shree Madhavraiji Temple.

So, this is one of the beautiful off beat destination in India. This was a fun weekend spent in a village. It was worth a stopover and a memorable one. I will always cherish my visit to the beautiful Madhavpur Beach. The sunset at this place is magical.
