Khanvel Resorts is one of the oldest resorts in Silvassa city in the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, India. If you are looking for a quick weekend getaway from the busy city life, then Khanvel Resort is one of the good options for a stay. It is just a 3-hour drive from Mumbai city in India.
The Resort is very huge and spacious. It is filled with lush greenery and is a perfect place to spend a good time amid nature. Well, you can spend a whole day in the resort itself. You can go for long nature walks in the resort. Also, the resort is filled with a lot of facilities and amenities which I will be discussing further.

Well, I had visited the Khanvel Resort in Silvassa a few months back. It was such a refreshing getaway. They have a lot of parking space inside the resort to park your cars comfortably. We had booked the resort with a package deal inclusive of Lunch, Dinner, Hi tea and Breakfast.
ROOMS
We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. The service at the reception was prompt and we were allotted the rooms quickly. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The room allotted to us had 2 queen beds. The room also had a spacious balcony where you can sit and enjoy your evening tea. We had a garden view room.

LOUNGE
The resort has a luxury lounge area that is built with modern interiors. It is a good place for hanging out. They also had some Board Games and Indoor Games to play in the lounge. We enjoyed a lot playing some Board Games. It was a lot of fun. The lounge area was very impressive. It had good interiors and also the seating arrangement was comfortable to accommodate large groups
SWIMMING POOL
Well, the Resort also had a huge swimming pool. The swimming pool was built in a spacious area in the resort. There were also a lot of chairs near the swimming pool to sit and relax. They arranged the Hi-Tea near the swimming pool. You can enjoy your tea at the poolside.
PLAY PARK
Then, there is also a Play Park in the Resort for kids. The Play Park had a lot of slides and swings for kids to play with. Your kids can enjoy a good time playing in the park. The play park is surrounded by trees and plants with colourful flowers.

The Resort has a lot of Rooms and different Categories of Rooms. I had been for a leisure walk at the Resort. Some cottages are built amid the trees and are separately located. They also had some Rooms with a River View. The resort is so spacious, that you will need one full day to just enjoy all the amenities inside the resort.
Well, the Resort is surrounded by a lot of trees and greenery. You feel close to nature. They also have huge lawns and banquets inside the resort.
FOOD
They have a restaurant which served delicious food. We enjoyed the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffet in the resort. They had a lot of variety in Food. There were a lot of options in food for the buffet. We had been here on a weekend. They had arranged some events like playing some entertaining games with the guests. They also had played some live music during Dinner time for the weekend.
Overall, it was a good stay at the khanvel Resort in Silvassa. You can spend a good weekend at the Resort and spend time amid nature.
