Hey guys, today I will be sharing some delicious 4 unusual types of Paratha Recipes. Paratha is a popular Bread in India. It is eaten in the main course with some North Indian Subzi (Curry) and it can also be stuffed with various types of fillings of your choice and can be had for breakfast or even as a main course.

Paneer Corn Capsicum Paratha

Corn Capsicum Paneer Paratha

Corn is a favourite of many Indians to indulge especially in monsoons and Paneer is also good for a healthy recipe. The combination of corn, capsicum and paneer is perfect to make delicious food. It also can be stuffed in Paratha and served with Tomato Ketchup. This is one of the 4 unusual types of Paratha recipes you would love to relish.

Ingredients

For Stuffing

  • 2 Large Chopped Onions
  • 1 Medium Chopped Capsicum
  • 1 cup Boiled Sweet Corn
  • 1 cup mashed Paneer
  • 3 tsp Ginger-green chili paste
  • 1/4th tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chaat Masala
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

For the Dough

  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Some Water to knead the flour

Method

For the Stuffing

  • Put some oil in a pan, add onions and green chilli – ginger paste in it. Sauté the onions for a minute.
  • Then add the capsicum and again sauté the onions and capsicum till they are completely cooked.
  • Now add the pepper powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder and salt in the pan and mix them well with the onions and capsicum.
  • Later, add the sweet corn and paneer and mix everything well and cook it for 4-5 more seconds.
  • The stuffing is ready.

For the Dough

  • Add the dough, salt and oil in a flat vessel and mix them well.
  • Now add water in it little by little to make a Dough which should not be too soft.
  • The dough has more oil in it to have a texture which will not be too soft.

For Preparation

  • Make a medium-sized round Paratha just like a Roti.
  • Then fill the stuffing on one side of the Paratha and fold it.
  • Now cook it on a tava by sprinkling some oil or ghee on both sides.
  • Cook both the sides completely on medium-gas flame.
  • Now place the paratha in a plate and cut it in half.
  • Serve it with some Tomato Ketchup.

Italian Parathas

This is a fusion recipe which turned out to be very delicious. The Paratha is stuffed with some veggies and Italian herbs. And, of course, lots of cheese. You can make this for your kids.   • 1 Medium-sized chopped green capsicum
  • 1 Medium-sized chopped boiled carrots
  • 1 Medium-sized onion chopped
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 2 tsp green-chilli ginger paste
  • 2 cups of Grated cheese
  • 2 tsp Oregano or mixed Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • salt to taste

For The Dough

The ingredients and method to make the dough will be the same as mentioned in the above recipe for Corn Capsicum Paneer Paratha.

Method

· Mix the onions, carrots and green capsicum in a bowl.

· Then, add the garlic, chilli-ginger paste, oregano, chilli flakes, cheese, salt and mix it well with the vegetables.

· Now roll the Paratha and stuff it just like we did it in the above method of Paneer capsicum and corn paratha.

· Roll the Paratha and put the filling on one side and fold it.

· Place it on the Tava and cook it on both sides by applying ghee or oil in it.

· Cook the Parathas completely on both sides.

· Cut the Parathas in half slices and serve them hot with some Tomato Ketchup.

Aloo Paratha

My version of Aloo Paratha recipe from the 4 different types of Parathas

Aloo Paratha is a simple and traditional recipe made in every household of India. Today, I will be sharing my version of Aloo Paratha Recipe. The recipe is just perfect to make Soft Restaurant style Aloo Parathas.

Ingredients

For the Stuffing

  • Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
  • 3 tsp green chilli-ginger paste
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt as per taste

For the Dough

  • 2 Cups Wheat Flour
  • 2 tbsp Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt as per taste

Method

For the Stuffing

  • Take a Bowl and put the mashed potato, green chilli-ginger paste, cumin, red chilli powder, chat masala, coriander and salt in it.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and keep the bowl aside.

For the dough

· The ingredients and method to make the dough will be the same as mentioned in the above recipe for Corn Capsicum Paneer Paratha.

· Just add the Besan in it for a good binding of the dough.

For the Paratha

· Roll the Paratha in a round shape and sprinkle some flour on it.

· Then place the Potato Filling on the Paratha and again sprinkle some flour on it.

· Now, fold the parathas with the stuffing inside the Paratha.

· Roll the Paratha again in a round shape and place it on the Tava.

· Apply some ghee on both the sides and cook them well.

· Repeat the procedure for the rest of the dough.

· You can serve the Paratha with Dahi(yoghurt) or mint chutney.

This Paratha is a combination of lots of Vegetables and Paneer blended with a lot of spices. You can also make the Paratha for your kids as it has lots of vegetables in it. This is again one of the 4 unusual types of Paratha recipes blended with some unique ingredients and spices in it.

  • 1 Medium-sized chopped onion
  • 1 Medium-sized chopped capsicum
  • 1/4th cup green beans
  • 1/4th cup green peas
  • 1/4th cup chopped carrots
  • 1/4th cup mashed Paneer
  • 1 Boiled Large Potato
  • 2 tbsp boiled sweet corn
  • 3 tsp green chilli-ginger paste
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp red-chilli powder
  • 2 tsp cumin-coriander powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt as per taste

For the stuffing

  • Boil the green peas, green beans and carrot in a pressure cooker for 4-5 whistles.
  • Now, add 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin in the pan.
  • Once, the cumin starts crackling add green chilli-ginger paste, garlic and onions in it.
  • Saute the onions for 2 minutes and then add the capsicum in it.
  • Again saute till the onions and capsicum are completely cooked.
  • Then, add the boiled green peas, green beans, sweet corn and carrot in it.
  • Saute all the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.
  • Then, add the red-chilli powder, cumin-coriander powder, turmeric powder, chat masala, pepper powder, salt and stir the vegetables with the spices.
  • Now, add the mashed potato and mashed paneer in it.
  • Now the mix everything well and switch of the flame.
  • The Paratha stuffing is ready.

  • Roll a round shape Paratha and divide it into two parts.

  • Now add the stuffing on one side of the parathas.

  • Cook the Parathas well on a pan by adding some ghee.
  • Cook both sides of the Paratha completely.
  • Serve the Parathas with some yoghurt or coriander-mint chutney.
