Buffets have been a favourite among the foodies of Mumbai lately. I always get excited to go for a Buffet in a restaurant. There are multiple choices in food. You can have lots of variety in Appetisers, main course and Deserts. It is a treat for foodies. If you are looking for a Buffet Restaurant in Mumbai, then Absolute Barbecues is a good option.
Absolute Barbecues Powai
Absolute Barbecues has gained popularity in the category of Buffet Restaurant in Mumbai. It is a popular restaurant in India and have several chain restaurants all over India. In Mumbai, this restaurant is located in Powai.
I had a good Buffet experience in the restaurant during my visit. Well, I opted for a vegetarian Buffet. They had a lot of options for vegetarian food here. If you are looking for a Buffet Restaurant in Mumbai, then you can try this place. They are especially known for their BBQ‘s with the Buffet. The appetisers include a live grill which is the specialty of the restaurant.
Well, if you are planning to visit this restaurant you have to make prior reservations with them. They have a certain number of slots for the Buffet Lunch and Dinner. Well, we were greeted by the staff at the entrance of the gate. They personally took us to the table and looked after that we were seated comfortably. Well, the ambience of the Restaurant was good. Also, the table was big enough and we sat comfortably.
Appetisers
Well, then we were served the appetisers and also their very popular live grill was served on the table. They place the Tandoor appetizer on a live grill which is on the Table itself. They had approximately 8 different types of appetisers in the Vegetarian Buffet option. We had
Paneer Tikka
Mushroom BBQ
BBQ Watermelon and Pineapple in Barbecue.
Then we had
Cajun-spiced Potato
crispy corn and
Dahi Ke Kebab.
Well, the above three are my favourite appetisers in Absolute Barbecues.
Main Course
For the main course we had
Paneer Lababdar
Palak Kofta Curry
Adraki Aloo Gobhi
Exotic Veg with Thai Red Curry
Mix Veg Korma
Burnt Chili Garlic Noodles
Special Dal
Yellow Dal
Plain Rice
Biryani
They had a huge variety in Main Course for filling up all your tastebuds. The staff also was very attentive here and served us well. They were very helpful and friendly with us.
DESERTS AND INDIAN SWEETS
Well, they also had live counters where you could make your Pasta and Pizza with your choice of toppings. They had Chat counters serving Pani Puri, Papdi Chaat.
And then they had Deserts or Sweet Dishes to top it all. They had different variety of Deserts to chose from. I was just overwhelmed with the options they served for Deserts. They had different types of pastries, brownies.
They also served Indian Sweets like Jalebi and Gulab Jamun. Also, they had a variety of ice creams. They make the ice creams live by mixing them with Oreo, Brownies and Chocolate Sauce. I like Ice cream with oreo.
Well, I also saw the staff making special arrangements for birthdays. They sing the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song and bring a small cake for celebrating the Birthdays of the guests and make them feel special.
Overall, it was a great experience having a buffet in Absolute Barbecues. If you are looking for a Buffet restaurant in Mumbai and want to try a huge variety of food, then this is a good option to try with.
