This place is very peaceful and soothing. The Isckon Nilachal Vedic village is surrounded by Farms. They have a temple of Lord Jagannath, a Gaushala (Cow Shed) and farms. Isckon Nilachal Vedic Village is a perfect place to spend time with your family. This place is built with a motive to give us a village-like atmosphere and also to explain to us the importance of nature in our lives.

Now, I will be sharing my experience when I visited Isckon Nilachal Vedic Village. It was a magical experience once I entered the place. The place is located approximately 1 km from the main road. Once, I entered the place I was passing through some beautiful Farms. It was a village feel. We then parked our car and were greeted by Mr Natraja Gauranga Das who was in charge of the guests visiting the place. He was very humble and happy to explain us about the place.

Well, we had not planned our trip and had an unplanned visit to this place. But, if you want to have a full excursion of the place you can plan your trip. INTRODUCTION TO ISCKON NILACHAL VEDIC VILLAGE
Well, as we were short of time Mr Natraja Gauranga Das managed to give us a quick introduction to the place. He said they try to keep most of the land as barren land as it is how it should be kept to experience nature. He told us that the total land of the property was 67.5 acres which were donated by Dr B.K. Goenka in 2010 to Isckon.
ORGANIC FARMING AT NILACHAL VEDIC VILLAGE
The land is kept natural as it gives a feel of the village. Their motive is to explain to people the importance of nature and also cows in our lives. Mr Natraja explained to us the connection between the earth and cows. He told us the importance of cow grazing the land and how ultimately it helps the environment on the whole. It was a good experience to know about these little things. Also, it is a good thing for kids to learn and educate them.
TEMPLE WITH A VILLAGE-LIKE ATMOSPHERE AT NILACHAL VEDIC VILLAGE
They have a Prasadam Hall where the Prasadam was made. The whole place was neat and clean. It was well maintained. The minute you enter the place you find some peace inside. Their motive is to create a village-like feel once you enter the place. Then we walked towards the temple. The temple is of Lord Jagannath. Also, the temple is kept simple and gives you an environment of a temple in the village. The simplicity of this place is so good.
The temple also had an Idol of the founder of Isckon Dr A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. They have regular Aarti in the temple. Also, Mr. Natraja told us that the next day was very auspicious as they had a Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in the temple. Lord Jagannath will be welcomed in a Bullock Cart.
GAUSHALA
Then we visited the gaushala. We spent a good time at the gaushala. Mr Natraja Gauranga Das explained to us a lot about the importance of cows. He told us how grazing of the cows plays an important role. It was so good to get some knowledge about the cows. He also told us how to identify the breeds of cows and also about which breed of cows they had. There were two breeds of cows there Gir cows and Kankrej Cows. We also got a chance to cuddle the cows. Well, this was a wonderful experience. Well, this is a unique place to plan a one day trip near Mumbai.

ISCKON NILACHAL VEDIC VILLAGE GUEST HOUSE
Well, the Isckon Nilachal Vedic Village also had a guest house which is just approximately 1 km away from there. I also visited the guest house. They were very humble to show me the guest house and also showed me the rooms they had to offer. You can also opt to stay for more days in the guest house. If you are planning an overnight stay around Isckon Nilachal Vedic Village then their guest house is a good option to stay.
The Guesthouse has a total of 20 Rooms. They have both AC and Non AC Rooms. The rooms were very well maintained. They told us that all the furniture was from Rajasthan. The furniture gave a feel of Rajasthan Décor. They had various Rooms like Double Bed Rooms, Four Bed Rooms. You can book the rooms through their website. I will be leaving the website link below.
Overall, the whole guest house was kept very clean and neat. The guest house also has a Swimming Pool. The Swimming pool was also well maintained.
The guest house is surrounded by lush greenery and farms. It was again very peaceful in the guest house. Well, the guest house had these beautiful Frames of Lord Krishna all over. The Frames had some beautiful pictures of Lord Krishna with short stories of Lord Krishna.
If you want to spend your time amid nature then this is the best place to stay. You can also visit some more places with the Isckon Nilachal Vedic Village. Some of the nearby places to visit are Dahanu Beach, Parsi Dairy Farm and Silvassa.

Overall, I enjoyed my trip to Isckon Nilachal Vedic Village. It was a wonderful experience to spend some time amid nature in a village environment.
