The MTDC resorts are known for their location and scenic views. Mostly, all the resorts are located in the lap of nature making the place a perfect holiday destination in itself.
This resort is a perfect place for a weekend getaway from the cities of Mumbai, Pune and Nashik. It is almost a 3 and a half-hour drive from Mumbai.
This resort is located amid nature. The resort is filled with trees all over. It is a Lake view resort. The MTDC Resort in Bhandardara has some breathtaking views of Bhandardara Lake. Also, the majority of the rooms of the resort are facing the lake.
If you want to spend some time away from the hustle-bustle of the city amid nature, then this resort is a perfect place to be in. You can just spend your time strolling around the resort and looking at the spectacular lake views from the resort.

They have a very small reception area where you may find different catalogues for tourist areas in Maharashtra and also about the attractions in Bhandardara. The staff of the resort is very helpful. They told us about some of the beautiful attractions we can visit in Bhandardara.

There are various categories of rooms available at the RESORT. All the rooms are very clean and neat. Also, the rooms are spacious.
MTDC BHANDARDARA PREMIERE LAKE VIEW SUITE
We stayed in a Premiere Lake View Suite which was just amazing. The view of the lake from the room was breathtaking. The Premiere Suite had a Living room, a kitchen area, and a bedroom with a bathroom and a huge balcony.

RESTAURANT
The restaurant is again Lake Facing with a beautiful view of the lake. Though they had limited options for food, the food served was delicious.
We had Paneer Subzi with Hot Fulkas and Parathas, Masala Papad, Chaas(Buttermilk) for lunch. Poha for breakfast. They had a lot of options from the traditional Maharashtrian cuisine.
The food served was tasty and fresh. The service too was very good. They also have a Room service where you can order your food online with an extra charge.
KIDS PLAY AREA AT MTDC RESORT IN BHANDARDARA
The resort has small kids play area. There are some slides and swings in the play area for the kids. You can also play with the kids on the lawn.
